Dong Heui Kim/Page 24/Summer Writing

Topic #2 from item A

The middle child seems to have the easiest lives.

Middles are apt to have steady personalities compared to the oldest and the youngest which enables them to get along with others without much effort.

Parents usually focus on the oldest and the youngest so they do not give much stress to middle ones.

They themselves do not have high ambitions like achievements in terms of academic and social standard. These factors all contribute to their easy lives because there is not much for them to get stressed or be disappointed at.

The only child seems to be the most difficult ones.

The only child is raised with full love and attention from parents. Thus he/she is not really a giving person and requires someone to fulfill his or her expectations.

They are more likely to spoiled and pout if things do not go well as they know their parents will listen to it. This habit will be continued even after they become adults, making them difficult with others who are used to being considerate.

Moreover, time spent alone without siblings makes them harder to make friends.

The youngest seems to have the happiest lives.

They are grown with overflowing love like the only child which greatly influences their personalities to be outgoing and optimistic.

They mostly have the sociable traits and have no difficulty in making friends.

They can easily ask for help from older siblings and parents so they hardly face any trouble.

The middle child has the most appealing lives.

The fact that the middle ones get to have both older and younger siblings is the greatest part.

Parents have the least interest on middle child but it is not problematic since middle ones have older and younger ones to not feel lonely.

I like to keep things neutral and being a middle child seems like a peaceful, easygoing life without much change in life.
